A letter from October 5th, 2018

Dear Future Me, Are you happy? You are writing this from a lonely place, and all I hope for is that by the time this reaches you, you have found what you're meant to do. I hope you have a dog with a ridiculous name, a house near the beach, a fort of blankets to keep you warm and happy, a job that never feels like one, and I hope most of all that you have someone to share it with, because you can be perfectly content on your own, but I can think of no one who deserves it more than you. If you're not happy, this is your sign. Change. Live. Be. All the best, old friend.
