A letter from January 19th, 2019

Dear FutureMe, In the dark and cold days of winter, it can be hard to find hope. Especially when everything is going wrong and it’s wearing you out. There is power in remembering that you actually need very little. The solution to any problem is usually to let go of something that is hurting you. It’s natural to want somebody to comfort you and make all the problems go away but if you give that job to somebody else, it gives them the power to disappoint you. If you take sole responsibility for everything you need - you maintain the possibility of creating it. In a couple months, little flowers will push out of the darkness into the light. So will you.
