Dear future me,
If you're reading this it means you've made it another year, that you were able to overcome it all that in this moment of life was frustrating. I sometimes think I put a lot of weigh on you thinking that the future me will be able to handle more. I apologize for that. I'm working so that I don't do that to you anymore, I'm hoping that by then I've made a lot more progress, please bare with me as I reconstruct myself.
I hope that in this whole new year you've made peace with the past and are looking ahead, not forgetting where your scars have brought you and remembering the lessons life has left you.
Remember you're ever-changing and don't forget what you've learnt:
- You love empowering yourself and believing in equality, you are someone capable of doing anything you set you mind to. You were able to learn how to code on your own and have sailed through the dark waters of socialization and made a LOT of progress.
- You always follow your heart, if something feels off you always let others know and you're always honest about your feeling. Not everyone is capable of doing that and I love this about you.
- You're resilient, you push through every awful time, every sad thought, every creative block, YOU. PUSH. THROUGH.
- You recently have come to love listing things, such as this one, it keeps your mind in order.
- Remember to keep on writing, write all your feelings down so you can better understand them, having them closed up in your mind is never good and doesn't help at all.
- You are loved, maybe not in the way you wish, but you have a family that adores you.
I hope you're doing well and I hope this letter helps.
