Dear FutureMe,
I hope you've learned and reflected from your ups & downs! Especially the downs so the lessons dont repeat themselves. I want to remind you life will always do what it has to do so you can grow. I want to remind you that in the past year you have surely gone through uncomfortable changes and I hope you've been courageous as you went through them. It's the best way to deal with life isnt it?
Also, remember that people come and people go...those who are meant to stay will find a way to stay. When it comes to pursuit & determination, that is the area where you must push forward with all your will and motivation. That is the area where you are in control of the outcomes. All other times, the outcomes are beyond your control, so please dont take other people's reactions to heart.. let people be.
Also, I hope you continue to be there for yourself first. I know its difficult and you always try so hard to be there for others. And I love that the most about you, you beautiful little human. However, you cannot be there for others if you have not healed from your own pains. I want to remind you that it is okay to hide from others if your soul really needs it. You must heal first, so when you are strong, you can lift others up.
And lastly, counting gratitude always feels stupid af but always makes you feel better. So in times of woe and definitely in blissful times, keep adding to that list of wonderful things on your phone! Read that list whenever you need to remind yourself of what your life is all about.
I love you. And I want you to know that you must constantly keep loving yourself. Do NOT expect it from anyone else. But, keep giving love to others. Let your looooooove cup overflow from your own self-love <3
p.s. please keep taking a lot of walks in nature!
