Dear FutureMe,
You are so happy right now. And I want you to realize that when you’re in a dark place you can get out. Because I suffered for a long time and now I’m smiling. I’m laughing by myself, I’m talking to people. I can walk around outside and at work and smile because the world is beautiful. Life has a kick to it. You just have to taste it properly. I don’t know if you’re in a relationship, I don’t know with who, I don’t even know if you’re enjoying yourself. I don’t know if you’re afraid to leave this person, or another relationship with a friend or family member. I don’t know if you’ve changed your mind about your career, or have made completely new friends. I don’t know how your sophomore year was, where you’re going with your life. Whether you’ve done things you’ll regret. But I do know you’ll make all the right decisions. Even if it takes you time. Keep pushing on. You’ll get there someday.
