Dear FutureMe,
I forgot about these letters, and to be quite honest I was about to archive the last one without writing another. I felt like it was important to have these letters at some earlier point in life where it felt good to have the support of my past self, but now I don't feel I need it.
I have a great job at Lockheed that I'm now 6 months into, I play enough videogames to feel content, I've started working out with Nathan doing calisthenics, I'm searching for a car to replace the Acura, and I'm single and happy. Not feeling the hots for anyone although the idea has popped up a few times.
Anyways, all I'm trying to say is that I feel okay just living life right now. I don't need a FutureMe email...
However, before archiving the last email I decided to re-read some of my old letters. They all were embarrassing and some over-dramatized no doubt, but it's an important thing and I don't want to be letting my past self down. So here, it is, another letter.
I hope by the time you receive this, you have a new car and feel great about your physical health and appearance. I hope you have started dating someone wonderful, or have at least been on a date or two in general. I hope you've read a lot of good books. I hope you're happier and more fulfilled than you were back in early December 2019... lol. But seriously, I hope you're doing well :)
Call mom and dad if you haven't yet, they have been nothing but supportive and they deserve the best. Happy holidays bud!
Best,
Andrew
P.S. Hope Last of Us II is a hit, I have high hopes!
