Dear FutureMe,
In case you don't remember, this was written in a mad time for our human brethren.
People around you aren't sure how, or when, they're going to 'make it through' - or even what that might mean. The Universe has been sidetracked from standard paths and ways of being; we've been asked to change to safeguard our own survival. If that's not a message from the heavens, what is?
I suspect that this is the beginning of a new paradigm, and that even when things 'go back to normal', they won't be the same as they were before. In a world where the only thing that's certain *is* change, this is powerful and far-reaching. We must dig deep, keep loving and keep questioning - simultaneously. This is a beautiful opportunity for us to connect more deeply with the nature and being of our own humanity; to come together as one, seamlessly, with a renewed understanding of the collective experience and suffering that binds and fortifies us.
Pain is not something to be feared, only felt - and learned from. Pain is our greatest teacher. My pain is my joy; the two are to some extent interchangeable. My pain is not only what reminds me that I am alive, but what allows me to live - what reminds me of what's important to me - and for that I am so, profoundly, painfully grateful.
And I don't know where I'm going. And I don't know what I'm doing. And that doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. I am being. And being is the most precious gift of all. If I can be true to myself, I will never fall.
I love you, and I will continue to love you through it all.
Take good care of yourself. Be kind. Let divisions dissolve.
We are not really strangers. Open your heart, mind and soul.
With love,
PresentMe, Past Me, AlwaysMe
Take me home.
You are where I belong.
