A letter from March 23rd, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey, can you believe it has been a year! I know where you are. You are 365 days further along in your journey. I am so proud of you for sticking it out. For getting it done when you didn’t feel like it. Look at you now, bigger, stronger and leaner! You are so strong. I can’t believe you can do 20 pull ups now. I am proud of you continuing to educate yourself on food and ways to be more healthy. I am also proud of you for helping others. You are in a place where you are able to take good care of yourself and your unselfishness and willingness to love and make someone else’s day better is fantastic! You have been given so much more from giving than you thought possible. 4 years sober? Holy shit that is great. Ben, I am so proud of you for taking care of your mind, body and soul and for helping others with what you can. See you in another year! I love you, Ben
