A letter from March 23rd, 2020-- A reminder from quarantine

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Well. I considered making a joke about it being the end of the world, but as I don't know what's going on while you read this, I decided it may be in poor taste. The world is... unrecognizable. Everything changed faster than I thought was possible, my entire life uprooted in what feels like an instant. I am numb to the fear at this poor. You will probably look back and remember that, the terror, the panic, the cruelty and unfairness. Remember the music too. The cat pictures from professors. The birthday cake left on Papa's doorstep. The days of sleeping in. The phone calls with friends. This is not the end of the world. There is still good in the world, even under the insurmountable piles of bad. There are good people, even if the bad ones are louder. The world will not be perfect for you, but I hope it's better. No matter what, remember there is still good. There will always be good. Love, PastYou
