Epilogue

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hi, this is a letter I wrote in 2020, I want you to know that I am not a perfect human and you aren’t either. Our flaws make us who we are and don’t trick yourself to believing that you have to be perfect. Of course, you should try your best but that doesn't mean perfect. You are in grade 6 now and probably worried about a lot of things but today I want you to let go of your worries be who you are don’t be afraid. Today is your happy day, release your inner personality and have fun. Buy yourself a treat. At the end of the day think to yourself, are you happier being yourself or worrying about what others think about you. After you do the above read the following: I am who I am Who else would I be I won’t change for you So why change for me I won’t waste my life Being someone I can not be Because I’m not a fake Unwilling to break Get used to what you see I’m going to be me. All I want in a year's time is to find the real me, I want to find friends that like me for who I really am. Love, Natalie
