A letter from March 26th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, You have pulled yourself together wonderfully. I know it may not feel that way, you my feel like you're still just a pile of turmoil, but you are bigger than your situation. You have grown so exponentially, it really is a sight to behold. In the past year you have changed so much. You left that abusive and toxic relationship and even though he took your car, you were able to get your new car that you absolutely love! You did what you said you would. You got over losing your job twice, you got yourself a new car, and you enrolled yourself in college. Finally, without your past situations, you have excelled wonderfully. Just remember, you are worth so much more than you feel. You are so much stronger than everyone says. Losing Abuelito and Sharon last year was hard, but you got through it. I know myself, and I know you will fall back into that dark place you live in in your mind, so often. Just remember when you do, you've accomplished a lot and you don't need to feel sorry for doing what you had to do to get out of the abuse and unhappiness. You made it through this time, you will make it through next time. Do not let your depression win. You can do this!
