A letter from April 1st, 2020

Dearest Buyant, since it's the first of April here's an alternative April fool's surprise. Today is a beautiful day and I am sitting at the kitchen table thinking about you... ...the last time I wrote you one of these mails, you were still living in Strab (and taking a shower, if I remember correctly). Since then so much has changed! We moved in together, we traveled, we moved, we got engaged, we went to Buttland for your first exam-session...so many memories and all the feels :) We are just a couple of weeks away from our wedding which is equally mind-blowing and exciting! I still can't believe how lucky I am to marry the man of my dreams and I look forward to spending our lives together, growing together, growing old together, building our family... You teach me so many things every day and there are so many things about you that I greatly admire! Like, to name only a few of your amazing qualities, how patient you are with me and my constant babbling about things, how incredibly cuddly you are in the mornings when I get to kiss you awake on your special spot, how you always manage to make me laugh when I'm having a bad day, how you have such strong values and beliefs that really help me find and stick to mine. How incredibly loyal you are and how much security you give me in knowing that we are fully committed to each other forever. You teach me to be a better version of myself and fill my heart with so much love every. single. day! I am eternally grateful to you for that! You are so amazingly talented at aviation (among many other things) and I know that it is hard, especially when doing the course while working a full time job but I so so so strongly believe in you. I know that you can do it and I know that you will!! Whatever your dream is, you can do it! (Please, please believe in yourself! Because you're amazing - the B's knees :P...not to reduce you to only your knees, even though they are amazing too!) "Also"...or "The thing is" (which apparently are phrases I use a lot, as I have been informed by toi) apart from the insanely exciting news of our upcoming marriage, we are also expecting our baby girl very soon! Pipsybabybiscuits is on her way and will arrive very soon! I very much hope she will be just like you, her wonderful daddy. And since she seems to be fond of teasements of her mummy in my tummy (rhymed!!) already, I have not a single worry that she will be just like her dada. Wowee (as Morty would say)! We have so much to look forward to, my love. And I can't wait so experience every second of it with you!
