Dear Future Me,
Remember that pandemic that happened last year? More importantly, remember that one English assignment you did? Well your hearing about it now. If you didn't want to see it again, then I guess you should've sent it to a different email.
Regardless, I'd say COVID hasn't been too mentally taxing. This is mostly due to the fact that you didn't willingly spend that much time outside of your house to being with. However is also due in part to the fact you live of a suburban nowhere with the only place of work within walking distance being an underfunded elementary school filled to the brim with kids that didn't qualify to go to Murray. There's also the part where you could basically hang out with your friends at any given time via Discord. So overall, you weren't too negatively impacted on that front. In fact if anything, you probably benefited from this since the 12th graders of this year were exempt from need the 40 community hours and you had 17.
Financially on the other hand, was another story. You see,as you may recall that at the time you worked as a Service Assistant at the Denny's in Napanee and as a result were laid off a few months prior to the pandemic on account of the first Quarter of the year being too slow to render you essential. Because of this, you weren't scheduled to work until the 14th of March, this was subjected to change however when it became prohibited to dine inside of a restaurant, you were once again, laid off. As a result, you currently have $7.98 in your bank account.
Apart from all of that stuff though, it's been going pretty well.
Sincerely: You, but younger and with less debt.
P.S.: Finish that assignment. You know which one I'm talking about.
