Dear FutureMe,
It’s currently the year 2020 and it’s official, all hell has broke loose. We’ve been in quarantine for practically two months and throughout this whole situation, it’s pretty sad and tragic that this is what the world has become. Schools have closed, as well as small businesses. It’s truly heartbreaking because as one who didn’t take advantage of going outside before this pandemic, we probably won’t get that opportunity for a long time. As someone who always hated school and the whole concept of it, I am missing it. It makes me wonder how many other things we took for granted. Even if it was going out to eat, enjoying a parade, shopping in beautiful malls, or even just grabbing something from the grocery store. I am a believer of the fact that everything happens for a reason. Maybe this was to bring people together, there’s not as much hate in the world like before, or maybe it was to teach us a lesson. Either way, we’ll get through it. We always have.
