Dear FutureMe,
I hope this email actually arrives, not that I have wasted too many precious moments of this life or anything, but just because that would be nice. Hopefully the last fifteen years treated you well. You are now thirty-three years old. Marriage? Children? Just being alive should be enough, of course, everything else is just a bonus. You think you're a good person and that you live a life that many would find very hard to compete with. I hope that this lust for life is still there, even if you are settled down with a family. I hope that you never stopped writing, because that would surely be a shame. And if you have, let this serve as a reminder. Remember the dreams you once had and everything you stood for, even though most of that might be in the past, it is all still very much a part of you.
Merry Christmas,
L
