Dear FutureMe,
Hey, guess I decided to send it to a sooner self, in 1 year and not 5 years... Then maybe I could be advised more often by a previous version of me. Sounds worth it ;)
You obviously improved in English since this cool week in the South of Dublin haha, good point!
You indeed went through dark places man. Like everyone does all the time actually (you have to stay aware of that). But even though you went through these difficult times, you also experienced a million of beautiful things: think about your Copenhagen summer (the men, the French friends, the non-French friends, the city, the weather, the start-up, the apartments,, the food, the Pride Week, Moad, Marek...), think about your close friends (Tétra Drachme for instance), think about Strasbourg (Paul, your engineering school friends from Canada to Brazil, the city itself, what you accomplished in your J.E., your first apartment...), think about your family and how lucky you are to have them around you, think about Lyon and all it gave you and all it still have to give you...
Don't let people tell you that you're weird or something, you're just a unique person, like everyone else, and your personality is (that's a fact) quite outstanding... But don't be too sensitive as well: you really get angry or offended too easily... Always step back and consider the possibility that you overreacted, which is often due to a lack of sleep... GO TO BED. And don't lose your ability to communicate with people, to adress problems and try to solve them...
Ow, and get tested for STDs and STIs regularly, please. Not kidding.
Love yourself, and people around you...
I really hope you're well at your time,
See you very soon,
You, on 26th August 2020.
