Dear future me,
so it’s probably summer right now. you just finished your last year in high school. you’re now free from the torment of those years in school. with people that were friends for labels and not friends for life. there are indeed some great friendships that have come out of it but knowing stories said in the past i doubt you’ll be friends for long.
you’ll be going into uni now and i can only pray that you have achieved the goals you wanted to achieve by now. i hope you have learnt to love yourself. it’s a process. i might not be able to say i love myself now but i count on you to have achieved that prayer of so long.
you’re awesome tho. you’re personality is rare. you’re laughter is needed and so is your smile. the art you produce with your hands and mouth is unlike i’ve ever seen. i hope you can see that you, yourself, is a work of art. i love you girl. keep soaring.
pray. if you haven’t in a long time, do it today and the day after. start now. if you have been praying and your closer to papa more than ever before, keep pushing yourself to go deeper into the word. work on yourself. you are a tool that this generation needs. make sure you function the way papa would want you to function.
he loves you. i love you. don’t forget it.
and if, sadly, you’re actually hanging onto your last string and you don’t know if you can do it anymore…please, just one more time. one more day. one more ounce of effort. one more smile. one more pray. just one more.
