A letter from Jan 3rd, 2022

Dear FutureMe, If i learned something in 2021, it’s not to expect anything to happen. It’s better to be surprised when something does happen, rather then being disappointed when it doesn’t. sometimes you just need to learn to walk through the pain, then go above it, don't let it get to you. Sometimes, the person you think they'd be, aren't the actual person they are. And that's expectation. And that's how it breaks you. So, don't expect, but more important is, don't put yourself in the situation you see it's gonna hurt you. Don't let those experiences bitter you. Grow beyond it. Learn from it, smile, and move forward. Life is still beautiful when you don't focus on those ugly experiences. i hope you find what you're looking for out there. i hope you find the kind of happiness that exists on your own terms. i hope you take out the time to truly figure out what moves you, what encourages you and what you deeply crave for your life, and i hope you have the courage to chase that. i hope you have the courage to believe that you are deserving of everything you desire, that you are capable and worthy of curating the kind of life for yourself that sparks something within you- i hope you never let convenience or easiness stand in your way. you're capable of a lot and i hope you know that. i hope you find the kind of love that makes you a softer person. the kind of love that sparks a fire deep within. i hope you find someone that quickly becomes your favourite thing- someone who makes hard moments somewhat easy. someone who makes the fall less fearful. someone you can't help but choose every single day, i hope you find something real and i hope you hold onto it. it's not easy to find. but at the end of the day, i hope you find everything you're looking for. i hope your life inspires you I hope you are reading this, wishing you could have told me what was going to happen, the good things and the bad ones. I hope we are happy with the place we are in, where you know facing all the fears and bad times worth it. I hope you wake up every morning and feel blessed for the day. I hope you have found you happiness in people, things, places and anything else. I hope you speak of these rough times in a great and not a bad way, cause this time was/ is great. I am blessed to have everything that i have. I hope life is going the way we wanted it too. I hope you are taking great care of yourself I hope you are a sun shine ray to everyone else that walks near you, i hope it inspires them to be joyous, present and exist fully. I can not wait to be you.
