Dear FutureMe,
Hi babe, how are you today? Hoping this email will make you smile :-)
At this moment I am sitting at my laptop in H18, St Pat's Hall. It is beautifully sunny outside and I am listening to 'Chase The Sun' by Planet Funk. Tashticles is on her way back from seeing Martin. Nhele is in her room. We're going to sit outside in the sunshine this afternoon. I am wearing a white strap top, a long, embroidered gypsy-style denim skirt, butterfly earrings and white flip flops. Last night, me and Nhele watched The Father Of The Bride 2. I think I prefer the first one, it's less schmaltzy.
I am looking forward to seeing Dr Karl at the Union (26/05/06), and the Summer Ball (hope there's going to be fairground rides, although rides will provide problems with what to wear), as well as going to Thorpe Park this summer. Also, we're planning a holiday this summer to somewhere hot. Don't know where though!
So that's me. How about you? I hope you're happy and healthy. How many life goals have you managed to cross off your list? I want you to make it your goal to smile and chat more. Yes, ok, maybe you're older and more confident now, so you do it anyway. But just in case, ok?
You are the most beautiful person who has ever existed. You have an exquisite soul, and an amazing spirit. You don't need the sun to shine to make you smile. Smile forever, beautiful!
You only have to look around you to appreciate the miracle of the world and how lucky you are to have the privilege of living in it, as blessed as you are with wonderful friends and family. Appreciate every little thing. Every moment, babe. Appreciate every moment.
Haha, I criticised Father Of The Bride 2 for being too schmaltzy!! Just look at what I've just written! If that isn't schmaltzy, I don't know what is! But it can be excused because every word is true.
You are worth a million more than anyone who has ever put you down or tried to make you fail. Hold your head high and be proud, sweetie. Look them in the eye and know you're beautiful and they're ugly. And imagine them on the loo!! Haha!! Now they're not so scary, are they?!
Now I have to go because it's lunchtime. I'm having salad and a bread roll. I wonder if this frugality will reap its dividends later on in life? Well, has it?!
A final word of advice... be happy forever. Find inspiration from all that is around you and live every day as if it is your last. Don't accept the mundane. Strive for beauty and grace. And smile....
I love you, sweetie. I hope you love you too.
Good luck!
