Dear FutureMe,
I’m writing you this a year later, so today is the 4th of August 2024.
You’ve finished 3rd year of secondary school, and you’re onto 5th year. Well, you better be. Don’t waste your time on TY, it will drain the joy out of you when it ends, and your brain will be the size of a bean by the time 5th year starts.
But anyways… congratulations, I hope your exams turned out decent, you should’ve gotten your results by now. Also, congratulations, because nearly all of your friends and people you know are good enough to do TY, so, you’re about to meet new people. Man, good for you for skipping TY, you’re just trying to focus on learning, and getting out if that ******** earlier.
Remember, ask your sister for advice for the following 2 years, no matter how much you annoy her, and how much she annoys you. School is starting next month, that’s your priority. Buy all the books you need, equipment, etc. etc.
Honestly, I wish you the best luck in Art, Maths and English, because they ARE a pain in the ***. Hopefully you don’t get Grace… I mean, 1st, she has no wisdom teeth, and 2nd, she has no wisdom in general, to begin with. She will expect a lot from you, and everyone, so just get it over with. Maths and English… just, study as much as you can. Find a method, ask questions, challange yourself, it’ll be over eventually.
Sorry for reminding you all of this, I bet there are butterflies all over your stomach now.
Actually in a month, 3rd year is starting for me. The most stressful parts which makes me want to **** myself are those crusty CBA’s, art projects, and tons of English essays and activities overall. That reminds me, I hope you didn’t get Ciara MC for History 😩.
Anyways, well, hopefully I’ll continue to do Badminton, and attend some competitions, maybe one against teachers. Also, gardening, for sure I will join. I’m not sure if Mark will still want me to take care of the garden after school with him, because there’s already tons of students that’ll join. I know I’m not anything special to him, just another curious student. Let me know.
Enough about me, cause I’ve nothing more to say. 5th and 6th year isn’t even 2 years long, there’s breaks between, and you should feel under pressure, even I feel that way now. I feel sorry for ourselves, but it’s the way it is.
Oh, also, happy-late-16th-birthday. That is a big fat ******* number girl. Good job 👍🏻. You better be getting some ******* next year, and by *******, I mean hot-*** women.
Remember, focus on yourself, and yourself only. Others don’t matter. They think they do, but they don’t, because you’re the main character of your story. Don’t let anybody make you feel in any way bad about yourself, because your main goal is graduating. Obviously don’t make yourself end up alone. Meet other people, I’m sure they’ll act a little more mature now. This is what you’ve been waiting for; a fresh start. Make it worth having. Be the better version of me, because we deserve/d to be happier.
And also, don’t get easily influenced by others; be the example. Use your skills you’ve learned last summer, and be that person. Be better.
See you soon,
Tara 2023
