Epilogue

Peaceful right?

Dear Ocean, I hope more and more people have been treating you well and making the effort to incorporate sustainable habits. I want to do more and trust me, I will, for Mother Nature, for planet Earth, for the animals, for the environment, for the forests, for the oceans. I will do my best to reduce my carbon footprint and eat less animals. I've finally pushed myself to just go grocery shopping and get all the vegan goodies I've been craving and needing for recipes. This week, I've eaten mostly vegan meals and especially on World Ocean Day, yesterday! I made vegan crabcakes from heart of palms & they were tasty. Maybe put less vegan mayo in the future so it's not as sour, but I still liked them. They were enjoyable. Before I went vegan back in high school, I never really cared for crabcakes. But when I was vegan, I made these once, and it got me eating veggies, so I approve 😅🤣👍 I will get those good quality binoculars as soon as they drop their prices 😅 so I will go out more in nature and observe more of the beauty around us. I can't wait for that. I could spend more time with my mom and create memories that will last me a lifetime. Idk if the binoculars were more affordable, I would get her a pair too. My grandparents, my younger siblings a pair too. Birds are such fascinating creatures, especially when you go from cheap binoculars to expensive binoculars, the difference is insane. I can't believe I went over 23 years without seeing birds with this good quality pair of binoculars. It was like watching a bird documentary in 4k in real-time. The first time I went birding in my class this spring, I was so amazed. I remember waking up and wanting to go back to bed bc I usually didn't wake up that early. But then I went on that field trip, and I had no regrets at all. I was sneezing the entire time, good thing my mom had pocket tissues. That class really changed me for the better. I can't wait to go birding more often, spend more time with nature. I really am passionate about protecting and conserving the natural habitats we still have. Idk I wish I was more expressive on my internship application, but at the time, I know I was really anxious and just completing the application was more than enough. I will do better in the present and future opportunities. May I continue to trust in myself and in the universe. May I continue to believe in myself and in my intuition. May mother nature continue to heal wounds we don't see, and the ones that are so apparent. May the animals run freely and those who can't be released, may they live a long and happy life. May our oceans, skies, air, trees heal, thrive, and flourish. I hope for the best for all of us. May we all succeed in life, whatever that looks like for us. May we all find community where we feel belonging and care. May we all nurture ourselves and mother nature. May we all find peace within ourselves and speak more kindly towards ourselves and loved ones. We love you so much, planet Earth, mother nature 🌊🌱🧚‍♀️🫶🩷🫂 sending much love & healing energy towards your way. I will contribute to a more sustainable future and I'm already taking the steps now to do so. Good luck to all of us! Fighting❣️✊️
