A letter from April 29th, 2012

Dear FutureMe, Amanda... Remember.. the first time you tickled her feet and she giggled? the first time you saw her little face in the doctors mirror... soooo cute... the way she looked over at you and looked right into your soul even though she was on the doctors table? unwrapping her.. like a gift. waiting up till 4am to hold her. keeping her in your bed and not in the nursery. how SOFT she was/is. how you KNEW her eyes would stay blue. you KNEW her hair would be blonde. You KNEW it. the little wrinkle above her nose stayed for about a week. How CUTE her crying face was. The first time she stood up like a little muscle man and hit her mouth on the crib. the time she laughed at you for having a towel on your head. Nursey Lursey. Raindeer Games. How sweet she smelled. her little yellow jumpsuit, with the flowers from Gymboree. Her little puffy yellow dress. I like-a-lellow. LOVE HER TODAY. Love her always.
