Dear FutureMe,
Ten years ago I was confused, lost, frustrated, and worried about my future. I knew what I wanted to be and do with my life, I was just stuck in a rut on getting there. I wanted to be happy and clear on life.
Do you remember how absolutely devastated you were when your first love was lost? Now, I am sure you rarely think of the heartache you went through with Chris. How about the struggle with school? Doesn't it feel great to be past that struggle and doing well with your career? It is funny how certain things then were such life-or-death matters to you. Now, I am sure you would trade your current struggles for the past ones any day.
I know you have many expectations in the future I just hope you didn't let them consume you. For instance, having a family was, is and always will be very important to you. If you haven't found that special someone to have a family with, don't worry, the right guy will come at the right time. God has a plan for you. If you are married by now but don't have any children, again, don't panic. Even though you are older than you expected to be without kids, God has a plan for you. Although, there could be a chance you are married, with kids, and happy.
There are a few things you should always remember and know about yourself. First, you are a very passionate person which can be a good and bad thing. You always care about others and want the best for you and the people you love but dont become overly obsessed. Being organized and having everything in order helps you think clearer and work better but remember it drives some people crazy. Do not be so down on yourself when things do not work out. Not everything is going to work out so be strong and prepared for disappointment sometimes. You will always work through the set-backs. Finally, love yourself. You know the number one person you can depend on is yourself.
Love and support always,
Me!
