Dear You,
Hey. So, have you moved? I bet you're working on figuring out which college you're going to. Or studying for something. Or you might have put this in spam. Heheh. Right now, I'm really into anime. I put that in so that if you kinda grew out of it, then you should get back into it. You might remember Black Butler. So far, that's my favorite anime. I think it's kinda cool because in some alternate dimension, we're reading this as I type it. I'm currently 12 years of age. I'm playing Pokémon Red version on the Game Boy Color I got for Christmas. Do you still play Pokémon? Have you defeated Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time yet? I bet the water temple was impossible. I probably seem really retarded right now. Not like the past, or the past-past, but more idiotic than I am now. I hope soon you'll become a published author. Or maybe a successful astronomer, or plant biologist. Those are the fields I currently believe would be interesting. I hope life is better now than it was when I wrote this. Do you have any good friends? Anyone you can trust or count on? Anyone you can even talk to? God, life is cruel. I hate my teachers. I hate school, I hate my "friends", life just sucks.
Make sure you write a letter to yourself every five years, or whenever you get this. Let's make it a life tradition. I really need to do my homework. Have you gotten out of the habit of procrastinating? Good Lord I hope you have. I still watch Toonami whenever I can. Are they replaying all the anime they did when we were in 1st grade? Or have they actually come up with others to show? Are you a good artist? I'm not right now. I got a big art set for Christmas, and a book to help me with my artistic skills. My goal is to be able to be confident in showing Sam that I can actually draw well. I remember when he doubted me. That's what motivates me. I hope that all of these goals that I have now won't depress you in case something terrible happened along the road. I'm going end this right now because I need to go to the bathroom. My bladder is going to explode if i don't do something about it soon, I swear. Oh yeah, I hope you had a Merry Christmas.
There will be hundreds, possibly thousands of mistakes and regrets I'll have between the time I write this and the time I read it. What you would say to me now, live by those words. My quote to you: "I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are."
