Dear FutureMe, HAPPY BIRTHDAYYY!!!!! So remember right now (well then, now) how you were suffering over your ex and his girlfriend around the little one? Well you better be over him... and over that situation if they're still together... or married. I'm about to finish my last year of college. I hope you passed every single class with a B or higher. I swear you better have done/finished those 2 pieces that were stuck in your head. If not, you fucked up. If yes, hell. Yes. I know they were different and great. I also hope that by the time you read this e-mail, you are almost completely different than you were today (FOR THE BETTER). If you haven't gotten your own place by now, please, give up on life. You suck. It should have been done in 2014. Another question, HAVE YOU FOUND YOURSELF A HOT MAN YET?? If not, smack yourself and go marry one from a speed dating get together. You're 29 for god's sake. On a serious note, I really do hope that you have changed mentally, emotionally, and physically for the better. Grown from where you were on this day. Maybe traveled a bit, gotten started on your career, met the man of your dreams, been happy with how the little one has grown, and all that jazz. If you're still in the process, DO NOT GIVE UP. Trust me when I say it will get better... No matter how old you are. People have graduated when they were 90, remember? If you're there, congrats. I have absolutely no idea what you're doing in life-- since I kind of don't even have a plan right now. I sincerely hope you're doing something you love, not just to pay the bills. If somehow you made it big, keep yourself level headed and feet on the ground. Appreciate every single little thing/experience. Soak it up. Be smart about it. Especially when it comes to finance. If you don't NEED it, don't get it. Remember, don't ever settle for convenience. You deserve better and always have. If you're still struggling with the little guy, MAKE TIME. If you are happy, go us. We really did it and I'm so, so, so proud. Getting married or engaged?? Holy fuck, I hope you're shitting yourself from excitement. Do yourself a favor and don't overthink it. If you're thinking about marriage now, it must be the real deal since we know divorce is not an option. If you have yet to find happiness, do it. Take a week or two to be selfish and find it. You know how. Right now, you disgust me. Today, however, I love you. Trust your process.
