Dear Future me,
It has been ten years now, since you almost died in that accident. Right now I sometimes still feel the consequences. Like, I can be very tired from time to time, to the point where I almost get sick. That sucks very bad, you know. But hey, at least I survived. I could also not get out of that coma, you know. Then you wouldn't be here. And then I never could send this to you.
What I want to say to you, is that you should be lucky that you're still alive. You could've been dead by now, and you know that damn well. And you also know that you can die any moment, no matter how healthy you are. Maybe the healthcare there is better, but still, always be careful. I wasn't careful back then, and I almost died too.
But what matters the most, is that you should be happy. Be happy about what life has given to you. You might not be succesful, or rich, or whatever, but that cannot stop you from being happy. Because look at you, you are beautiful, even when you don't believe it yourself. You've had enough trouble in the past, and now is the time to look forward, to the future, where all the opportunities are. Take them, but keep remembering the past, as a lesson.
I will always love you, no matter what happens.
Past me.
