A letter from August 15th, 2014

Dear Future Me, I'm pretty sad. I don't know. I've turned 16 a few months ago and it isn't amazing. I'm driving. I know, but i can't make right turns that well. Shamus is still not in love with me nor will he ever be. I'm actually pretty much over him. Um.. You better be published now. Or at least decided what you want to do with your life. Hopefully you are happy. That's really all I want for you, me, us. When you get this, You will be graduating high school in a few weeks. Hopefully it is as nice as we hope. Hopefully you're accepted into a nice college and are going with Hannah because that's what we've been planning since 6th grade. Most importantly, I hope you're happy. It's been a long 16 years, I can only imagine how embarrassed you are feeling getting this on your 18th birthday and all. Have a swell time voting, you adult. -Youself
