A letter from December 22nd, 2014

Dear FutureMe, Did he propose? Are you still with him? Right now you are 17 years old and madly in love with him. Today is your 7th year anniversary, he better have proposed! This is so scary cause we cant tell the future so I don't even know what will be going on. Does Dad know yet about him? Or like do you have anything planned to make it work out with the family yet? How is your relationship with Mom and Dad, I hope its still good, no matter what I don't want to just leave them behind. I also don't want to be forced to make a choice between the love of my life and my family. Its a choice that shouldn't have to be made. Good god I cant even imagine what you're doing right now... Like how is your job did you become a fashion journalist or something far from that? How about the Kids? Inaaya, Talha and Ghina, oh gosh did Adeel and Maisa have kids yet? Or did Asra ever get remarried, how is she? I hope she's okay, she worries me sometimes. Are you still friends with Danna too? Soooooo many questions. Oh so did you ever end up going to California with Tim? I hope sooooo that was probably so much fun. So tell me what's your favorite song? Is it still Simple Man by the deftones "Boy take your time don't live too fast, troubles will come and they will pass to find a woman and you'll find love, and don't forget son there is someone up above, and be a simple kind of man, be something you love and understand". I don't know if that helps anything you're dealing with right now or if you just think I'm stupid whatever. I don't care it always has applied to me. Gosh all this thinking about my future is giving me anxiety, but I guess I shouldn't stress. I just really hope you didn't go cold again, I know it sounds dumb but remember to love and be caring no matter what. Realize your mistakes even if its too late to mend them. Your life isn't over you have a long way to go and you're 23 girl so go get that world and show what you've got cause you're worth the show. This letter is really dragging on, but I know there is just so much I'm gonna forget, I guess nothing lasts forever, except one thing that will be there forever and always as promised. I just have one more question though. Tell me, are you happy?
