Hey there! Happy b-day! You turned (or are turning) 25, correct? Now, down to business. :P The other e-mails you have received from me were all written exactly 10 years before their sending dates. But this one is different. At this moment (for me), it is 1:01 PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. 14 years old, grade 8, all that jazz. A little bit ago, I actually wrote you a message titled "Brunch?" that should have been sent on April 8, 2019.
Anyway! What I wanted to tell you was this: on your time capsule, it says not to open it until the year 2035. Well guess what? My birthday present to you (myself) is... OPEN IT NOW!!! I was very young when I put that time capsule together, as you know. I figured 40 would be a good age to open it. But now I realize that 40 just seems too late of an age... 25 is perfect, don't you think? I don't care what that seal says. It's been well over 10 years since you put together that time capsule. I think it's about time you cracked it open. 40 years old? That's just too late..
This is not a test, or anything, seriously, just do it. Keep in mind, I'm writing this OVER TEN YEARS AGO. I'll have to be incredibly patient to wait until late 2019 to receive this e-mail and open the time capsule. It's your 25th birthday present, from yours truly. Go crazy!
