A letter from February 25th, 2016

Dear FutureMe, Right now you are a first year college student at Brown Mackie College. You, my friend, are really lazy sometimes and by now you have better straighten out. You are unemployed, but looking for a job. You have like $80 in the bank and you are struggling financially. You are falling behind spiritually but there are changes coming quickly. There’s only room for growth now. In 5 years you will already be a police officer and a pretty damn good one. You will not let the power get to your head and you will be a role model citizen. Yes you will be a citizen by then and have dual citizenship. You will live in Idaho because you love it and it is your home. You will barely start to own a house. You will be married already and have one kid. ONE KID!! So control yourself. Areli will be your wife and she’ll most likely be making you happy. And crepes. You better have another Porsche and actually take care of it. I’m sure you’ll be doing well spiritually because your wife will be significant help. Always smile like I’m always smiling and be kind to everyone! You are really happy hopefully, and you have no regrets. You were a good writer, but you were bad with run-ons and you didn’t have as great imagination on your paper as you could’ve in composition I. You had many troubles focusing but you always got the job done. In comp I you improved plenty and had less grammatical and word choice issues. You still need a little work with the run-ons but it’ll only get better with practice. And your APA is not all that good. By now you should be advanced in writing and have written so many reports as a police officer that your head wants to spin. You will no longer be procrastinating because that is the worst habit ever. Try to write a book and show how your life is and all your adventures. I might’ve missed something but you will probably have everything under control. You also better not get fat. Go to the gym with your wife. Stay in shape and maybe you have gained a few pounds of muscle and you have an amazing body. Make sure you dress classy and have awesome hair. Best Wishes, Old Me
