Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Happy 30th Birthday!!!! If you're reading this by my calculations we should have achieved world domination by now. How's that working out? I imagine we're still pretty awesome, kick ass even lol This is the age we said we wanted a husband and kids by. If I'm not mistaken we should have been married for 3 years already and have at least 2 kids (one more to go pretty soon!) I hope we're madly in love with a man who thinks the world of us. Who loves us for all the things that are great about us, bright about us, dark about us. I hope he's experienced that darkness and became the lantern that guided us through the roads that seemed logically less traveled, but even that didn't scare him away. I hope we're experiencing the level of intimacy that can only be discovered by 2 individuals operating completely in sync without inhibitions. I hope we're finding out all of the ways our kids are like us and how they've made our lives so much better simply by existing (and giving us that harsh reminder that all the stunts we pulled in our adolescence is being reincarnated and thus we cant be mad :). If you're still with Garrett then we both know our parental love will require much patience lol If you and I aren't experiencing something even remotely close to this, as your best friend whose made it their personal responsibility to always look out for you I must tell you now is the time to leave. You are an amazing person. You're selfless, you love unconditionally and your capacity to forgive and self reflect is always something I've admired about you. And in such I dont ever want you (nor I presently) to keep the company of someone who doesnt see this. I hope each day you laugh, love, smile, give, take, learn and continuously grow. I hope that we've become the woman God has called us to be both individually, as a wife, mother, daughter, sister and all the many blessings God has allowed us to be. I hope we're still cherishing every single day that we have on this earth, because you and I both know time, much like the mountains is infinite, but once you fall from the top can end in an instance.
