Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hello future Laura! I hope you are as well as possible and that you are enjoying looking at cherry blossom trees as you did at lunchtime today in Abercromby Square. Today 5 years ago was yet another quiet day at work. Kirsty said 'hello!' to your future self by the way. For breakfast today 5 years ago you had some gluten-free museli with natural yoghurt and blueberries. Your mood was pretty bad when you first woke up as you didn't want to get up early and go to work. But you felt better as the morning progressed and by lunchtime you were feeling positively chipper! I hope that your health has stabilised somewhat after 5 years on a gluten-free diet. If your white blood cells are still messing about, try to be calm and remember you have coped with 20 years of this already. Your neutrophil count today was 1.5 I'm wondering whether you will have moved house and I sincerely hope so as having your own home was one of your top goals in 2016. Is 5 years too early to be in the 'dream house'?I'm also wondering if you knocked out a kid, this was also something that was playing on your mind. At 44 and three quarters it was late in the day but not impossible. I hope you found peace with not having one if that's what you decided. Mostly I hope you have stopped worrying so much about illness and death. I hope so much that you have not lost anyone else close to you but that if you have, know that you will get through it as you did when Dad died. You can get through anything, your track record has proved this. I can't wait to hear if you published a book and find out how your writing is going. If you haven't pushed yourself as hard as you could towards this goal in the last 5 years, I will go mad... You were wondering about tattoos in 2016...you will be nearly 50 by the time this arrives so will you be inked as you head through the menopause? My lovely future self, I wish only magical and wonderful things for you and I hope you have continued to build on the strong sense of strength and resilience you felt was at your core on this day 5 years ago. You have come a long way and if your journey has ended by the time this is sent, please know that you did your absolute best in life and you made a difference. Love Laura from the past XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXx
