Hi there my future self,
How have you been doing? I hope life is doing great. You see, I wrote this letter to remind you of how difficult it was for you at one point.
You started young and strong, You're smart and you got the world at your fingertips.
But then, something happened along the way. You started to look for a different path because
you were not happy anymore, something in your then present state frustrated you.
You sought for something fulfilling yet so intangible,
something you can't even utter. You saw other things, other promising things.
And you tried to think things through until your head felt like cracking and you couldn't
fall asleep at night.
You started young and strong, you felt fast and invincible, but then you realized that you're in a crossroads.
And then you got stuck in that crossroads, you didn't know which way to run, but you told yourself
' it's okay, someday it will all be as clear as a bright sunny day '.
Look at you now, you survived one of the most difficult stages of your life, that quarter-life crisis was really something. It was like a ghost haunting you every now and then, confusing you.
But it made you stronger, smarter, it made you realize what you really want, what you really need.
Now you're indulging in simple things, your happiness runs deep and it fuels your soul. Your life is not perfect,
but imperfect is good, one can't have everything in this world anyway.
Thank you for letting go of all the what if's and embracing the constant uncertainties.
Thank you for not standing still. Thank you for risking. Thank you for growing up.
I'm proud of you.
Live really well.
