Dear FutureMe,
I've been thinking too much lately. So much that I've actually been isolating myself unintentionally lately. Or maybe people are leaving me, I don't know but I feel really alone lately and I don't know what that's about. I've been going on hikes and fantasising about a different world, a world where none of this depression shit is happening and where Donald Trump isn't running for president. Dear god, I hope you 've managed to overcome some of this depressing shit and that Donald Trump didn't win the election.
I wanted to talk to you about something. People are shitty. The only person you can trust is yourself. Don't play yourself. No one is here to save you. The only person who can save you is yourself. This isn't a fairy tale, this isn't a movie, Prince Charming isn't going to swoop in and save your dark soul. You have to live for yourself, you have to take care of yourself. You cannot give the key to your own happiness to someone else. You cannot do that, you cannot put that sort of responsibility and pressure on someone else. Only you can save yourself okay? You have to listen to your heart and listen to your gut. You need to take care of yourself. You need to stop putting harmful substances in your body, caffeine, processed food, I don't know if you drink alcohol in the future but you need to stop. You can't eat your happiness away, and you cannot force yourself to love someone and you can't force someone to love you. People are either going to like you or they aren't going to like you. Please stop hurting yourself by putting yourself in the lives of people who want nothing else but to hurt you. Don't let yourself be made a fool of. But live your life passionately, let it radiate from your soul. Make magic. You are a magic woman. A strong willed, stubborn, beautiful and intelligent woman. Who is more than capable of taking care of herself and saving herself. You might be a damsel in distress, but you can handle it.
Be tough. Don't let them get to you.
