Dear FutureMe,
you did it. by this point you have gotten through the chemo, through the radiation and kicked cancers ass. you may be a little worse for wear, you may not like how you look or feel, but you did it. the hair will grow back if you lost it, you Will be able to have kids, and andrew will be there by your side through the future. does he have a job yet? are you engaged? i hope so, if not it will happen soon, remind him of that, that he can do it. maybe by now you have moved to a different city, i hope it was north and not south. i want snow. and maybe at this point you have a puppy to go with those two cats you adore so much. either way, i'm writing this now to you, at the beginning of your chemo just to give you something to read later on and remind you that you are amazing, that you are perfect and beautiful and perfect. tell andrew you love him, give him a kiss and thank him for being the best partner you could have in this as year 6 anniversary comes around, call your parents and thank them for being there every step of the way. and love the cats, for you know, being cats.
you got this
i love you my future self
from
your past self
