Dear FutureMe,
Right now you are on the journey to beginning your own life. Focus on you and bettering yourself for the future. The little things that may seem important now, will be minuscule looking back. You're in school because your parents want the best for you. Don't disgrace them. You're here to learn. To get an education, the kind that they were never able to receive. Honor them and do the best that I know you can. This may seem like an annoyance or a waste of time but know that you are doing this for them. Your parents gave up so much for you to have the best life you can ever possibly have and slacking off and not taking things seriously is NOT how you should treat them. School IS important. A degree WILL take you places. Being knowledgeable and intellectual is the greatest asset you can have. Material things are just that, things. You cannot place a price on the knowledge you are receiving from your studies at college. Push forward and be great. Because you can. Because you will. Classes may be difficult, exams may seem impossible, but people get by it everyday. And you are not like the other people. You are able t endure what others are not. You are strong. You are capable. You will strive and succeed. Because you can. Because you will.
