Peaceful right?

Dear Abby, I bet it feels so great not to spend mental energy thinking about what's wrong and instead using that energy to actually act on making the changes you've been meaning to act on for some time! I hope you're to the goal of not being official overweight - that'd be fabulous - but if you're a few pounds off just think of all the progress you've made and where you would likely be if you hadn't committed to the Happy Body Project. You were on a path to be not just the 20+ lbs overweight you were but could have been potentially pushing 30lbs overweight if you repeated the weight gain you had in 2016 over the holidays in 2017. And if you're just a few pounds off I'm sure you'll get there soon! Keep it up & focus on continuing to live & maintain a healthy lifestyle daily. How did you figure out how to get more activity into your days. Did you build the treadmill desk? start actually going for runs again? is Makai now trained to be less annoying on walks? or did you find a class you like? Any of those are good... just remember what Jennifer said - it's not possible to be a healthy person who is sedentary. I also hope you have made the progress you wanted with Scott and the girls. The girls are at such fantastic ages and you want to make sure you don't let that pass by while they still like being with you. Did you find a fun hobby to do with each of them? or do they just like talking? Regarding Scott, he really does a lot to try to make things wonderful for you and the girls. And remember that Mom wished she hadn't nagged Dad so much - it never helped and it just felt lousy when he was gone. Plus it made Dad grumpy and can't make Scott happier to be nagged... he deserves to be appreciated and you'll be more joyful if you do that. So proud of you for sticking with the program despite travel and the holidays... it's not easy but keep up the good work! This is a lifestyle and if you maintain that I think you'll be surprised that there's still some more results to be had - with respect to weight and life! Love Abby
