Dear FutureMe,
So its the 17th April again! And this time its 2021 and you and Elizabeth have been married for 50 years.
A....maaaazing!
Do you remember the lovely Silver Wedding celebrations we had back in April 1996 on that lovely sunny weekend in the garden at Caroline Place? Two days of family visitors and so nice. Sadly some of those folks wont be there in 2021. But on the other hand there will be new ones including our dear granddaughter Anna, presently aged 3.
Hopefully in 2021 you will be able to look back on the party I organised for our Ruby Wedding in 2011 ! Music and dancing and a caberet spot by you and Elizabeth. You still play an accordian hopefully, and Elizabeth continues to dance and show off her amazing fitness - much to the envy of all the friends from our Morris Dancing sides in earlier years!
Our son David will be at the party in 2021 and aged an amazing 44. He will have the confidence and love to make a lovely witty speech to propose Elizabeth's and your good health and future happiness!
All I have to do now in 2010 is prepare plans for the Ruby celebrations in 2011.
I wish myself and my lovely wife all the best in the future when these words are read.

John
