Hey, Here's a prediction. Political predictions are always foolish, but if Tetlock is right, mine is no more so than that of an alleged 'expert'. 45 will cancel most of the US's covid-19 precautions. As a consequence its economy will far outmatch that of other nations, and he will win another term (already almost assured with the cretinous Dems having slithered hapless Biden into the nomination). Tens or hundreds of thousands will die of covid-19, but a combination of 'fake news!' tweets and media suppression will push it under the US middle-class radar. Fresh in his second term, 45 will become the oppressive figure his detractors feared. Freed de facto by the GOP's venality and cowardice, and the impeachment debacle, from constitutional restraint, 45 will now tackle the pandemic crisis. It will be a magnificent opportunity for him to heap blame on all available outsiders, and crush opposition almost entirely. By the end of his second term, the US has been transformed into a kind of 3rd world superpower. All military, environmental and human rights constraints have evaporated. Elections are as empty as those of Russia or Turkey. The US is feared and loathed and reluctantly obeyed by the rest of the world, weakened as other nations have been by the pandemic. In the second half of the 21st century, the US drives the world into ecological catastrophe. Cheers.
