A letter from April 7th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, I know that an important college decision is coming up. Provided that you get into both your top schools, you will have to make a choice. And if your top schools have not changed, one of those choices will upset your parents greatly. But remember: This is your life. You are the one who has the live with the consequences of your actions. It's time that you stopped living for them, and started living for yourself. Choose what makes you happy, even if it disappoints your parents. Their approval is not everything. In fact, it's barely anything. You do not owe your parents anything for raising you. Choose what you want to do with your life. Live for yourself and yourself only. - PastMe
