Dear FutureMe,
I hope this time next year you are still content about ageing and realise that it is a part of life. This one day remains ordinary in regards to normality, there is no change, you are still you. It is not a reminder that another year has passed unproductively, theres always tomorrow, try again, don’t give up. It is simply an excuse to celebrate and signify your birth, you’re life and your amazingness. (Which you are, amazing, I hope you do realise this.)
Current situation: We have been on lockdown for four weeks and I have been home for six due to not attending college the two weeks previous to this situation. I have been baking almost constantly and painting fences everyday for the last week. Yesterday was Easter Sunday, we had a fry up and then went to baby and grandads. We found all the old video cassettes and the Ferguson videostar camcorder, I have watched all of the videos but couldn’t get it to work in nanny and grandads so I’m hoping it’s just a minor fault. I dressed up got glam, wore my sage green corset top with black jeans and my Adidas Osweegos. I didn’t feel pretty in any pictures but I know I looked pretty, I just have to become more comfortable in front of the camera and get to know my angles better. Practice makes perfect.
I’m currently reading “it’s all in your head, a guide to get your **** together” by Rae Earl, I like it. It’s educational and informative. I’m looking forward to reading more of it. I’ve been listening to my playlist “sing your heart out” and a lot of Harry styles, who is my current obsession haha. I just finished s6 of B99 with KEVIN and we are devastated we finished it so fast. I’m thinking of watching some barbie movies,90s movies or getting a free trial on Disney+ again, idk.
Things I hope for my future self;
• I hope you’re still healthy eating and you’ve found a good balance in your relationship with food that is consistent. I hope you are going to the gym regularly if it has reopened, or that you are exercising at home or going for walks. I hope your staying fit consistently and that you are working towards your desired shape and that you love your body regardless of the stage it’s at (and your mind, I hope you’re treating your mind well)
• study. I wonder what you are, what course you’re doing, if you have a job, what the next year holds, if you’ve completed those assignments that are due in two weeks or the ones that were due four weeks ago:// I hope you’re happy regardless of what you are doing. That should be the main priority.
I hope you’re getting out of the house, go to ******** hill, contact the people you love, visit nanny and grandad, flirt w random strangers, make new friends, have lunch dates w besties, just be out and open and enjoy your freedom, start living. And travel a lot. Just realm in life. Live in and prosper.
I hope you find balance. Between good and bad days. Between healthy and unhealthy. Between exercise and rest days, between going out and staying in, yes and no etc. I hope you know it’s okay to be sad but that you should not focus on it.
I really hope you’re happy and that you’re doing more than okay. And if you’re not, I really hope you’ll talk to someone about it instead of holding it in. Wishing you the best in life, really just want you to lice life to the fullest!
