Dear Emily,
By the time you read this 10 years will have passed. Ten years, hopefully full of memories, new experiences, laughs and tears, ten years full of life. I can only imagine where I am, and what I've done in those ten years, and I hope I have lived up to most of them. Please use this email to look back on these past ten years, to take a moment to remember everything and soak it all in. I wish this worked the other way where future me is the one sending advice to current me but that would be too good to be true. In 10 years from today, I will be 2 months from turning 30. I fell like that day will never come. I hope my morals, hopes, dreams and beliefs relfect the person I truly am and have stayed the same, or changed for the better. I hope you remember how you were back in 2011. It's the end of Freshman year, you are about to go abroad to Argentina for the summer and next year you will be turing 21, living in your own apartment, growing up. Remember the night Kylie got smashed in the bedroom and fell down the stairs? Nacho Libre? PP? Scrappy, the only male who truly truly never hurt your heart, i love him more than any guy and it will be one of the toughest things to let him go one day. Please don't forget these things even though I know it's hard to hold on to the past. We've done so much with our life already and I pray much more will come. I'm anxious, excited, scared and sad to finally reach the day where I open this email but when it comes I hope the best thing I can say is I've tried my best and have enjoyed life. I love you and remember to always love yourself.
