To the 20 year old me

Dear Erica, How long has it been now? 4-5 years? Wow, somehow, just beginning to write this is making me emotional. Hey, Erica. Can you tell me how far you've gone? Can you tell me how time has been for you? Because I'm 15 right now, and time has been racing through almost too quickly. I'll be in my second year of high school soon, but I hope I won't be attending school here in Canada. Firstly, I want you to know how hard I've been trying to make this dream of ours come to life. I want you to know I've done so much research on this matter, and I just truly hope you were able to give it a shot- or just at least try. Even if, in the end, we don't make it, I hope we tried. Erica, I hope you're travelling. I hope you're having the time of your life. I hope you're taking care of yourself. I hope you're surrounded by people who love and care for you, and I hope you're with someone who loves you. This is hard to write. It's hard to write to yourself, yenno? I never really thought about what might happen if we actually did it- if you were actually able to make it all come true. But, tell me, is it as hard as they said it was? Did mom support you? Did anyone support you? That's what I'm afraid of right now, I'm afraid no one is going to support me. I'm afraid of not even getting the chance to try. But I really hope someone supported you. Wherever you are now, I'm sure you're happy. I hope you're happy. Right now it has been hard. Well, probably not as hard as it is for you, but it has been hard for me as a 15 year old. And I'm not even talking about academically. Naaah, I'm doing well in school, but..socially...however...eh. Before this gets too long, there's people I've wanted to meet. Have you met them? LSJ and PJM. If you haven't forgotten about them, then you'll know who I'm talking about. If you haven't met them yet, PLEASE! Tell LSJ how much people love him. How much he is appreciated and how much you admire him. Tell him he doesn't need to change, and that he is perfect the way he is, and he doesn't need to prove himself to anyone. Tell PJM that he is a perfect weight, that his looks are beyond the regular standard. Tell him how much people love him, and how he is also appreciated. Tell him how he shouldn't be so hard on himself. Really. Erica, you fall in love with the strangest people. I'm writing this now, as a 15 year old, because this is the beginning for us. This is where I'm going to start the impossible, and try for us. I'm writing this now because I believe we can accomplish this dream, please. I've wished on so many stars to get this far, so let's make it all the way, okay? Please tell me we've made it. Well, I don't know what else to say other than good luck. This is to hopes that we have saved a life, helped someone in need, and changed the world, even just a little bit. To the 20 year old Erica, this has been from me, the 15 year old you.
