Dear FutureMe,
This is email from Till, consider to answer these questions and compare them with mine.
But beware: just reading over the questions will do next to nothing for you.
If you want to get the most out of them, please carve out at least 15 minutes of your time so you can sit down and mull over each question.
Also, not all of the questions will apply to you, but I know that at least one of them will.
I know a question hits home when my clients look up and have to really think about an answer instead of just regurgitating the same response they’ve already given a bazillion times. Watch out for that.
So without further ado, here it goes:
1. Question: What do I want my life to be about?
2. Question: Who do I have to be in order to achieve my goals/dreams?
3. Question: Imagine you’ve accomplished everything you set out for over the next 3 years. Looking back from that point, what piece of advice would you give your current self.
4. Question: Who are the 20% of people who contribute 80% of your happiness/personal growth/professional growth/feeling of emotional support? How did you meet these people? How can you meet more of these people.
5. Question: What were your three biggest accomplishments this year? How did they come about? How can you replicate this? How could you have done the same things in just 20% of the time?
6. Question: What is something you should stop doing today?
7. Question: When you objectively look at your actions of the past year as if you were a different person– what would you think about the person? What is he/she interested in? What are his/her goals and ambitions? What is important to him/her? What are his/her fears? How well does this match with your actual plans?
8. Question: If your life was a book, what would be the next chapter?
9. Question: When the year ends, what would you regret having not done?
That’s it. Take your time answering these questions. Remember only ONE question needs to hit to change everything.
