Dear FutureMe, Do not compare your life to others and do not live your life in other's expectation. You have to remember your goals and pursue them. Don't just settle for something small dream big and chase them. The idea is to think that if today you do not earn money, that is completely okay as long as you think it is okay. Do not just feel bad as you have been feeling lately thinking of what other expect of you. You have to remember all the dreams you have dreamed and you have to make them true. Do not just settle for what people got to say. Recently right after the last semester, I am sitting here feeling bad because I had a few expectations that I should spend more time driving the cab. And on the other hand, I have not really been working well maybe because deep inside I was thinking the same thing. However, I knew I need a plan for my time and just now I went for a long walk and sat at a bus stop for some time and thought almost everything that is happening in my life and the conclusion is that you do not compare your life to others and do not live your life to other's expectations. You just have to remember the life you have dreamed for yourself and you need to tell yourself again and again that if you are living up to other's expectation then you do not deserve the life you have imagined for yourself. The solution is to go for a long walk, relaxed and calm and believe that you have been sent to Earth not for living just your life but to change the life on the planet Earth. Remind yourself that you need to live your life as you have dreamt. For that plan ahead and boldly follow the path. Chasing your dreams or goals is hard that is why only a few succeed. People do not do a lot of things thinking about how others would think. Do not be that guy.
