Dear FutureMe,
You survived. You’re here, thriving. You wrote this in the middle of a pandemic where you lost your job, had to rely on everyone else, and battle yourself just to get through a day. Every single day up to the point where you are reading this has been a struggle for one reason or another. But all of those days added up to this moment. Take it and reflect but make sure you also take the time to congratulate yourself for all of the hard work you have put into yourself for no reason other than to be a better version of yourself. You are doing so great.
I realize that you have aspirations to be a mom, own a home, have a family, thrive in your career, and those are all amazing things to want to achieve, but don’t be hard on yourself for not accomplishing any if not all of those things by the time that you had hoped. Everything will happen when it is supposed to. All you can do for now is continue to dream and work on the parts of your life that you want to improve on for future you.
Be kind to yourself and just enjoy the ride. Remember that I love you.
Past you.
